A sailboat - a research/documentary/educational vessel - with a rotating crew and the mission to sail around the world, with no planned end to the journey. To document environmental and social change, while working to network people, ideas, and resources from around the globe in an effort to weave a network that supports and learns from individuals and communities on the local level, while connecting everyone on a global level.
We are seeking a sailboat, 36' or longer, in turn-key or near turn-key condition. With preferably a wooden hull. Suitable for ocean crossings. Please contact our director, Blue Cobalt, to discuss the financial benefits that it could bring you, and the assistance it would bring our organization in doing the work we believe in. Fair market value of the boat would be deductible against your taxes, up to 50% of your annual income. This could potentially be more than you could sell it for in the current market, depending on your situation.
